Red Hat RHEL 7 Free Download and Installation
1.1. Downloading the RHEL
RHEL is a paid subscription available in the market and enabled for a lot of enterprises which is very secured and ability to run a lot of application specifically for enterprises.
Currently, only the most recent release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux is available from developers.redhat.com. You can find all releases of Red Hat Enterprise Linux on the Red Hat Customer Portal, access.redhat.com. When you join Red Hat Developers, a Red Hat account will be created for you with a no-cost Red Hat Enterprise Linux Developer Suite subscription. Create an account, in RHEL website and download the OS. The RHEL 7 will have limited amounts of repos and features, even though it is a good start for the leaners to have this for testing and development of RHEL 7 skills.
After downloading the OS, boot the OS in a pendrive.

We need to configure static IP address and partition mount points.
Click the configure button and start configuring the network.
Change the settings from DHCP to static.
After changing to DHCP to static, you should be able to configure the IP address.
Then proceed with the partition process.
Direct as given in below image.
Now you have 70 GB available and free.
Add the mount point according to your requirement.
At last add root partition / atleat 10 GB for installation and other temp.
Then proceed with the installation of the server. Then in next step, you will find the user creation and password assigning.
Set the password for the root and create a user
Set the password for the user as shown below.
Create a new user called tibco and give admin privilege.
Then you can login to the server with the credentials.
In cloud computing they will provide you the server at this stage, there will be no additional installation setting as shown above.
2.RHEL License Activation – CLI
If you are working with the cloud, then you don’t need license activation. Cloud itself provide the license for that OS.
If the installation is from an image file in on-premises, then the following need to be completed to activate the license.
Subscribe server to RHEL with the id you registered with Redhat website.
